American Athletic Honored with Track & Field Facility of the Year Award

Trenton-Ewing, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 26, 2013 - American Athletic, an award-winning sports facility builder specializing in the precision construction and installation of running tracks, artificial and natural turf fields, and sports courts, has been recognized once again as a winner in the American Sports Builders Association's (ASBA) annual awards program. Awards are presented each year to facilities built by ASBA members which best exemplify construction excellence.

The "Track & Field Facility of the Year Award" was presented to American Athletic for their work on the Sports Ministry Complex at Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, Florida. The state-of-the-art sports complex is now home to all Calvary Christian High School football, soccer, and track & field athletic events. The complex, affectionately known as "The Rock," contains an 8-lane, 42" synthetic rubber track with 120' radius points and 185' field event runways. The track is IAAF-certifiable, with dual pits for long jump and triple jump, and is surrounded with bleachers where spectators can enjoy all events from shot put to high jump to pole vault.

As the recipient of the award, the team at American Athletic couldn't be more proud.
