  • (1888PressRelease) April 25, 2012 - The Academy's Annual Meeting is an international, multi‐specialty meeting in cosmetic surgery, that features world‐renowned surgeons and keynote speakers. In January, the Academy's 28th Annual Scientific Meeting, also held in Las Vegas, attracted the highest attendance in the Academy's history. Attendees chose from a comprehensive educational program with topics ranging from Live Patient Demonstrations of In‐Office Procedures for Dermatology, Advanced Topics in Body Contouring and Post‐Bariatric Surgery, Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty, Blepharoplasty and Browlift, Advanced Topics in Breast Surgery, Advance Topics in Face and Neck Surgery Vein Surgery, Hair Replacement Surgery and expanded Practice Management Sessions.

    "The success of this year's Annual Meeting has sparked an increased interest in paper submissions for next year's 2013 Meeting," said Dr. Neil Sadick, Chair of the Annual Meeting Education Committee. "The Academy's goal for the Annual Meeting is to provide attendees with education that is designed for their specialty and interests, focused on best practices, practice gaps, patient complications, patient safety, and quality improvement."

    All papers regardless of categories will be ranked by Peer Review on a 1 -5 scale. The rankings will be based on originality, scientific content, relevance of new information, study of methodology and commercial bias.
