    This year our National Parks Service celebrates its 100th anniversary. Artists: Linda Harrison-Parsons and Kathy Bush will feature paintings and illustrations inspired by their travels to our nation's parks. Share a visual conversation with these artist's, see through their eyes an adventure. Capturing memories with photographs, travel journals and plein air painting are ways these artists share moments of inspiration.

    North - South - East - West our country hosts 58 National Parks and Nature Preserves. Driving the Mighty Five in Utah: Zion, Bryce, Arches, Capitol Reef and Canyonlands gives one a life time of beauty to paint. The Redwood National and State Parks: home to the tallest trees in the world. Denali (the high one), is six million acres with the highest peak in North America providing shelter to bears, sheep, moose, fox, caribou and birds. The breath taking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, going up the east coast to Acadia National Park in Maine.

    Come be inspired to find your own park and inspiration. The works will be on exhibit from July 1 - 30th at NOMA gallery, 437 N. Market Street, Frederick, MD.

    Gallery hours: Friday 4:00 - 8:00, Saturday 12:00 - 8:00.
    First Saturday Art Walk: opening reception July 2nd 5:00 - 9:00.
    Special Holiday Hours: July 3rd and 4th 12:00 - 4:00 demonstration both days painting trees and birds in pastels.
