"Fly on the Wall" is a metaphysical fantasy book in which the main character, Jaylin, dies and ends up in a purgatory-style world where he has to choose his next reincarnation on earth. In this transitional world, Jaylin comes across spiritual gurus who are able to awaken to their past lives when they are reborn - by submitting forms at mysterious offices hidden in the afterlife.

Author Robin Coe describes "Fly on the Wall" as a three day meditational study into her own subconscious feelings about death and immortality. She wrote the book during the 3-Day Novel Contest in 2010.

"I describe it as a meditational study because that was the zone I was in. I did intense dream and thought journaling over those three days."

Coe said the idea for "Fly on the Wall" came to her when she was showering.

"There was a fly on the wall, and I just wondered what it would be like to see through the eyes of a fly. It just so happened that fly on the wall is also a metaphor for a reality TV camera man. So, I worked that into the novel, as well.

Coe has two other novels published which include "Book of Wrath and the special edition "Illustrated Book of Wrath".
