While all the winemaking kits come with high quality equipment, the time will come when the soon to be expert winemaker will want something more than the basic winemaking equipment included in these kits. From early to mid-September and into October, The Grape and Granarywill begin to receivefresh grapes and grape juice from California into their Akron, Ohio store. The grape juice for winemaking is the 'Regina' brand from the Central Valley region of California. The grapes are either from DePalma Farms of Ripon, California or from Sutter Creek Vineyards of Amador County, California. Obviously these products cannot be available on their web site. Maybe that's why we've heard rumors of winemakers driving from as far away as Atlanta, Georgia to Akron, Ohio so they could purchase these fresh grapes and/or grape juices from The Grape and Granary.
