- (1888PressRelease) February 05, 2016 - Nelson, New Zealand - Environmentally Friendly Alutex™ Slave Boards. Tawaho Management Services, a sustainable market development company, in collaboration with American-based New Composite Partners, has recently announced the availability of a new exciting product to replace conventional platform or single thick panels used as a support base for palletized loads in rack-storage facilities or production systems, Alutex™ Slave Boards!
Alutex™ Slave Boards are "Made in America" with natural fibers and a corn starch resin that facilitates the marriage of new biobased product development with sophisticated manufacturing skill and knowledge. The tremendous commercial importance of the composites industry offers a chance, by using products like Alutex™, to enhance the global environment by replacing petrochemical based products with natural, renewable based products.
Alutex™ composite panels offer a flexible solution with the advantage of being able to select just the right combination of fiber reinforcement and resin material to meet both the application and property requirements of a finished application for end users.
These extremely durable sheets are dimensionally accurate and will work time after time with your automated material handling equipment. Our design resists deflection under heavy loads and there are no splinters or metal fasteners to harm your products or cause injury to your employees. Alutex™ Slave Boards are completely reversible and can be used with either side up or down. Optional scuffing on the deck surfaces retards product slippage during conveying or when used with lift trucks.
A light weight, cost effective logistics solution, the Alutex™ Slave Board has a weight capacity equal to or greater than wood boards currently in use. The Alutex™ Slave Board is also FDA approved for food contact use while being constructed of corrosion resistant, nontoxic, 100% recyclable, eco-friendly materials.
