ALOE Systems enhances VoIP softswitch with an advanced billing system
ALOE Systems announces the release of a new functional version of MVTS II, an all-in-one VoIP wholesale softswitch with smart routing and billing functionality.
- (1888PressRelease) February 02, 2011 - MVTS II version 1.4.1 includes a large number of new features, including advanced billing and accounting mechanism, refined Traffic Switch category, revised rate change notifications feature and an ability to efficiently manage dial peers.
A new version comprises a brand new advanced billing and discount mechanism. It allows users to develop versatile billing policies that allow carriers to change rates depending on the volumes of traffic used within a certain period as well as flexible call cost calculation algorithms.
Also MVTS I v 1.4.1 enables blocking of dial peers in situations when their ASR, ABR or ACD values drop below predefined thresholds or their peer appeal values exceed allowed maximum.
A new category of objects named "Traffic Switch" was added to the MVTS II web-interface. The objects of this category provide data taken directly from the switching subsystem: active calls - this table shows data about currently active calls; registrations - provides data about equipment currently registered with the MVTS II; and active nodes - shows the list of active Traffic Switch nodes and other related data.
The new release comes with the revised the rate change notification feature. Now the category of objects "Origination" features the subcategory "Rate changes" that consists of three objects: rate change reports - for manual creation of reports on changes in the rates for destinations; report templates - for creation of report templates used in CSV and XLS files; and report schedules - to configure the System for unattended creation of rate change reports.
Carefully tested in ALOE Systems' laboratories, MVTS II version 1.4.1 is proved to be dependable and user-friendly.
