With the launch of this 'connected kitchen,' Alno strengthened its position in the cabinet market offering options for kitchen design integrated with technology. To promote the launch of the attractive interactive display, Alno hosted Miami's premier developers and professional partners with a showroom tour and culinary event at its flagship location, 3650 N. Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida.
Lothar C. Birkenfeld, NKBA Hall of Fame award recipient, as well as pioneer of modern European cabinetry in the U.S., is heading this new concept geared specifically for the North American market and demonstrated the kitchen's moving parts and remote-controlled capabilities from an iPad. Chef Ryan Harrison and Wok Star Eleanor Hoh presented signature dishes. Miele, Modern Luxury Publications, Casa Vinicola Zonin USA and Artist Janet Mueller participated as event sponsors.
The new display, programmed locally by Tech Interiors Inc., comes complete with a 13-foot LED touch computer screen / TV which serves as the kitchen's backsplash. Cabinets are made with platinum blue and black and trade-marked glass and topped off with the most exclusive textured solid stainless steel countertop called, Ice Design™, a product of 'AlnoINOX + Technik' and 'Suter.'
