Allure Italia and A Woman's Place Create Partnership to Raise Awareness about Domestic Violence During Women's History Month
Founder and owner of Allure Italia, Chiara Underwood is a former volunteer and board member of A Woman's Place and she's seen first-hand the women they help. She says, "As a volunteer, a Co-chair for their Business Appeal Cabinet and as a Board member I've had the great fortune to meet and work alongside some of the most amazing women I've ever met and was given the opportunity to help other women live the life they desired for themselves."

To raise funds for the organization, she'll donate a free Italian itinerary review, a free Italian itinerary planning session and the chance to win 2 free tickets to A Woman's Place annual gala, A Chocolate Lover's Fantasy as premiums for donations made through the Allure Italia website and Facebook page until the end of March.

A donation of $100 will get the recipient a 1-hour itinerary review for their next trip to Italy, while a donation of $200 gets the itinerary planning done for you. You can also have a chance to win 2 free tickets for A Chocolate Lover's Fantasy, the April gala benefiting A Woman's Place. While domestic violence never takes a break, Women's History Month seems like an ideal time to launch a partnering campaign between the two organizations.
A Woman's Place Executive Director Ifeoma Aduba, appreciates this cross-fertilization because she feels it's another way for women to support one another. Last February, A Woman's Place collaborated with Bucks County Playhouse to present Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, a portion of the ticket sales went to the domestic violence organization. She says, "The resulting publicity allowed us to reach an audience who may not have known about us."
