Allison Elko Joins Bell Nunnally as Senior Counsel
Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has added Allison L. Elko as Senior Counsel.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) February 04, 2016 - Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP recently added Allison L. Elko as Senior Counsel. Elko joins the firm from the Dallas office of Fair & Watts, P.C. where she served as special underwriting counsel to Hexter-Fair First American Title Company, LLC.

At Fair & Watts and in her role as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel within the legal department for its predecessor company, Hexter-Fair Title Company, Elko provided a team of commercial real estate escrow officers with a wide-array of legal support - including underwriting guidance and title issuance assistance. In addition, she worked closely with commercial real estate clients on a wide variety of matters, including industrial warehouse leasing and build-to-suit projects.
Dual-licensed in Texas and Arkansas, Elko's experience also includes time spent as Senior Counsel for telecommunications provider Windstream Corporation (NASDAQ: WIN), and in the real estate department of Hughes Luce LLP (now K&L Gates).
Active in the community, Elko is a member of the Dallas Bar Association's "Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program" and a volunteer and past board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star - North Texas (Eastern). Notably, she has twice been named Dallas' "Big Sister of the Year" (2004, 2002).
Elko is a past panelist for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), speaking at its annual meetings in 2007 and 2008, and a previous "Texas Rising Star," featured in Texas Monthly magazine.
Elko is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law (J.D., 1998) and the University of Arkansas (B.A., 1993).
