  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) April 30, 2013 - Brian Suarez of Allies for Everyone is the creative mind who wrote and performed the opening theme music to compliment the National Geographic' Brain Games show's pop-science edutainment format.

"I wanted to get the music just right. When I was preparing the theme music, my goal was to create excitement and anticipation for the viewer who was about to watch an awesome show," says Suarez.

Critics have described Allies distinctive style as a catchy combination of 80's pop and new-school electronic; the Brain Games producers wanted the magic of the Allies sound but in a more orchestral arrangement for the series theme song.

"It's so catchy and strong and matches perfectly with the opening visuals while creating a sense of wonder and awe about what's coming next," says Brain Games Supervising Producer Adam Davis.

Brain Games, which broke NatGeo Channel's ratings record on April 22, 2013 as the highest rated series premiere in the channel's history, is called "a breezy half-hour series that makes science entertaining" by Variety, and features interactive games and experiments as a way to train and reveal the inner workings of your brain.

"Working with Brian was great. He would send in five versions of the show open theme at a time and we'd debate the pros and cons of each. By the end, we must have heard 20 versions of the song. But when we heard the one that's in the show now, we just knew," says Davis.

For his next television collaboration, Brian is composing all of the music for an hour-long space technology documentary project for Atomic Entertainment Group. Allies is also releasing a collection of remixes of his song Supernatural on Kid Recordings in May 2013.

As Allies for Everyone, Suarez has performed his original live music at the CMJ Festival, Webster Hall, SXSW and more and has DJ'ed alongside Juan MacLean, The Rapture and Creep among others. In 2011,Allies created the soundtrack for the Elle Magazine Jean Paul Gaultier Retrospective featuring Coco Rocha remixing his own Hour of The Wolf from his 2011 release Hour of The Wolf EP.
