Allied Wire & Cable Expands with New Rochester Location
Allied Wire & Cable is an electrical wire distributor with various locations across the US. Recently, we opened up another location in Rochester, NY in a time when other electrical distributors and manufactures are closing their facilities.

As the legend goes, Allied Wire and Cable was founded in 1988 in the Flynn family basement in PA. Over the last 26 years, the family-owned business has expanded from their first subterranean headquarters to a company with over 200 employees across facilities nationwide, which newly includes an office in Rochester, NY.
The addition of a Rochester location is good news for original equipment manufacturers in the region. Wire and cable provider Anixter recently moved their OEM sales department out of their Rochester office and up to their OEM Solutions group in CT. Anixter Rochester now deals strictly in industrial business, whereas Allied Rochester can serve both industrial customers and OEMs.
Allied's new office is located near Rochester Tech Park and has been built up around local wire and cable veterans Chris Jodoin and Ann Marie Denero. Both Denero and Jodoin worked at Simcona Electronics, headquartered in Rochester, for 22 and 24 years respectively. Denero also spent 11 years as a branch manager at Anixter.
Wire and cable buyers in New York and across the world will benefit from Jodoin and Denero's many years of experience and technical background. Denero also speaks Spanish, so more customers can conduct business in their preferred language.
