Allied Wire & Cable Expands To Las Vegas, NV
Allied Wire & Cable announces the opening of its new stocking location in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new location provides an opportunity to improve customer service and support for west coast customers, in addition to employment opportunities for the Las Vegas area.
- (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2010 - Allied Wire & Cable officially opened the doors to its new 16,000 square foot Las Vegas stocking facility on December 1st. The facility stocks some of Allied's core wire and cable items, used in a wide range of industries and applications. Hook up wire, mil-spec wire, and portable cord are just a few of the products stocked in the new Vegas inventory. But additional stock isn't all the new warehouse has to offer. Soon, the Vegas facility will also have the capability to perform the same major value-added functions and customization services as the Allied Headquarters in Pennsylvania, including striping, dyeing, and more. These services give clients the opportunity to get their wire and cable in the exact form they need it.
Despite recent nationwide economic hardships, Allied continues to expand and is excited to open its new facility which will provide much-needed job opportunities to the Las Vegas community. The Allied mantra, "common sense, not dollars and cents" rings true in the company's expansion. The Las Vegas location is viewed as an opportunity to serve a new community and to improve support for customers in the area. Manager of the new facility and former Warehouse Manager at the PA headquarters, Rick Gaines, shares his enthusiasm for the new location and the opportunities it provides.
