As with all Allied Schools programs, the back office Medical Assisting program offers an affordable tuition. Medical assistant education encompasses two aspects - medical administrative assisting (front office), and clinical medical assisting (back office). Students who complete both programs of medical assisting education from Allied are qualified to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) examination, offered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).

The back office medical assistant program prepares students to perform duties that include recording vital signs, preparing a patient for an exam, giving medication, taking out sutures and making sure health histories are up-to-date, as well as performing phlebotomy (blood draws), taking
