(1888PressRelease) May 30, 2014 - WILMINGTON, NC - Alliance of Comprehensive Planners (ACP), formerly Alliance of Cambridge Advisors, has elected Lois Basil, CFP®, and Al S. Davis, CFP®, EA, to the ACP Board of Directors. Basil and Davis will serve a three-year term beginning June 31. ACP is excited to welcome two new leaders to the board during this time of change, growth, and development within the organization.

Basil and Davis bring years of experience to the board. Basil, who joined ACP in 2010, opened Basil Financial Group in 2011 in Chicago, Ill. She has 29 years of board experience with other organizations and has held numerous leadership roles within ACP.

"I am honored to have been elected to the ACP Board," Basil said. "I look forward to working with the Board on our current initiatives and to help identify goals for our organization that will not only help our current members but will also attract new members."

Davis, owner of Davis Financial Planning in Asheville, N.C., joined ACP in 2010. He credits the organization with helping him to build a strong and successful firm quickly. He has personally benefitted from the training and community at ACP. He is excited to bring the perspective of a young, but growing firm to the board leadership.
