This is on the heals of ANIC's successful asset assumption which infused an additional $46m of cash into the carrier. ANIC President and CEO H. ANIC, formally UMI Insurance Company was acquired in 2006 and has been very selective with the insureds it has pursued. "This is our fourth reinsurance renewal and we have been over subscribed since inception. We have had the same group of "A" quality reinsurance partners since we began writing business in 2006," says Mr. Agnew. "The reinsurers believe in our business practices and are looking for prudent qualified growth."
