But instead of telling him, she permits her old girlfriend, a closet lesbian, to move in with her. It's when he finds out that the trouble begins. The all Latin cast of the movie "Spanglish Girl" really drives the storyline home.
Based in the El Barrio of New York City also known as Spanish Harlem the life of another ordinary Latina is depicted through the views of Director Robert Santana. As the plot develops the main character played by Belange Rodriguez known as Milly in the movie lives life as she best knows how. With all the pressures of her situation she confides in her best friend to help her piece her life back together.
