- (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2021 - Non-working days were announced in Moscow and the Moscow region from October 28 to November 7 due to the increase in the incidence of COVID-19. Dealerships located in Moscow and Moscow Region are closed to visitors during the lockdown period, in accordance with the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow dated October 21, 2021 (No. 62-UM on amendments to the decree of the Mayor of Moscow dated June 08, 2020 No. 068-UM).
The AVTODOM Group of Companies and the AutoSpecCenter Group of Companies fully support the measures developed by the Government to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. These continue to work in compliance with all safety standards and COVID-19 counteraction prescribed by Rospotrebnadzor. All dealerships are provided with personal protective equipment and disinfection equipment. More than 80% of employees are vaccinated against coronavirus. Dealerships AVTODOM and ASC provide remote maintenance and car sales services and maintain online communication with customers. Visitors do not have access to showrooms and waiting areas. Cars are accepted and returned in the fresh air.
Andrey Olkhovsky, General Director of AVTODOM Group of Companies, does not see any difficulties in organizing remote work: «Our actions are aimed at reducing possible illnesses of employees. We transferred part of the staff to remote work. However, the business cannot be completely stopped. Otherwise, our employees will not be able to receive salaries and pay their expenses. 2020 was not in vain. Our IT and digital business departments are adapted to work in the prevailing conditions. We do not plan to reduce the volume of contracting and services on non-working days. The process of issuing previously ordered cars would not change unless additional restrictions on offline contacts are introduced. Otherwise, we will arrange remote delivering cars to customers».
The current restrictions in the work of dealerships will not affect the quality of services in any way. However, payment is only available online or by bank transfer.
Andrey Terlyukevich, General Director of the AutoSpecCentre Group of Companies, emphasizes the importance of the work of service stations during the tire-fitting period: «We are extremely concerned about the COVID-19 situation. We comply with all the instructions of the authorities and observe social distance. Online sales, remote acceptance, issue and delivery of cars - all of this has been worked out in our company based on the experience of 2020 restrictions. So now, of course, we will also use these tools. Since the lockdown coincided with the beginning of the tire-fitting season, it is important for us to provide our customers with service. Restrictions on the work of service centers can negatively affect road accidents, because road safety depends on the timely replacement of summer tires with winter ones».
In St. Petersburg, from October 30 to November 7, ABTODOM dealerships operate in accordance with the established rules and restrictions. The entrance to the showrooms will be temporarily closed; access to the service will be carried out through the active acceptance area.
GC AVTODOM and GC AutoSpecCentre care about the health of their customers and recommend, if possible, stay at home on non-working days and reduce contacts with other people.
