Earlier this month, Alfa Chemistry commenced the supply of clinical standards for customers worldwide to support clinical laboratory use.

Iopromide (CAS 73334-07-3), assay by HPLC with a purity of 98.0% and higher, is an iodinated contrast medium for intravascular administration and is commonly used in X-ray imaging studies to help in performing diagnostic tests of the brain, heart, head, blood vessels or other parts of the body.
Iopanoic acid (CAS 96-83-3), assay by HPLC with a purity of 95.0% and higher, is an iodine-containing radiocontrast medium. This research-grade reagent is a substrate of type 1 deiodinase and can also be used in cholecystography.
