Alethea Taylor’s newly released book helps empower women by educating, informing and equipping them with the knowledge they need to navigate the world and the threats they confront because of who they are and what they possess.
"It's time for girls and women to take a stand and learn to respect, protect and care for their pussy", Taylor said.
(1888PressRelease) September 23, 2021 - PHILADELPHIA – The same thing that unites every female in the world is also their greatest threat. Alethea Taylor’s latest book, Let’s Talk Pussy: Lives Depend on It, the independently published second book by the educator and entrepreneur, helps women recognize the dangers not just to protect themselves against human trafficking but all forms of sexual abuse. As a human potential coach, actor, advocate and author, Taylor reminds women and girls that the danger can happen in their own backyard within their relationships, families and communities. Too many people do not believe this is happening so closely, but that’s how rape, molestation and sex trafficking remain undetected. The major mission is to assist young girls and women in developing their self-esteem and recognizing their worth, choices and contributions to society.
Taylor’s latest book speaks candidly about the personal and powerful bond between females. Without knowledge or understanding how the pussy affects every moment of their lives, they become easy prey to predators near and abroad who abuse, rape, traffic, enslave or even kill for it.
“I want to take the power from the word pussy and empower girls and women,” Taylor said. “I am particularly committed to the advancement of strong, confident girls and women. It is my heart’s desire and primary mission to help young girls and women build their self-esteem and recognize their worth, choices, and value they bring to the world.”
Lack of education and information at a young age about the power of pussy implants the seeds of ignorance that can evolve into a dangerous vulnerability. Today, Taylor explains, people are more offended by the word pussy than by how girls and women worldwide are suffering because of it. The book teaches girls and women about the hazards they face as a result of who they are and what they have…their bodies and pussies. The book encourages everyone to find the confidence to start conversations that will help girls and women prepare, encourage and empower themselves.“It’s time for girls and women to take a stand and learn to respect, protect and care for their pussy,” Taylor said. “The word itself is not the problem. The attitudes and mindsets surrounding it are. Saving countless lives should take precedence over our aversion to a word.”
Taylor will donate a percentage of the proceeds from 2021 book sales to select nonprofit organizations nationwide. She is slated to partner with organizations that work to combat against rape, human trafficking and anti-human trafficking initiatives for girls and women.
Let's Talk Pussy: Lives Depend on It is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Taylor’s First Book, Truth Be Told, is a collection of short stories with interesting characters sharing their relationship truths, mistakes, regrets and revelations.
