Albuquerque's Edit House Productions Wins International Award

Edit House Productions, LLC president Ed Smith has been awarded the "Platinum Best of Show" in the 2011 Aurora Awards competition for Cinematography, for a documentary filmed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. End Quote

Albuquerque, NM (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2012 - Edit House Productions, LLC's Ed Smith has been awarded the top level "Platinum Best of Show" in the 2011 Aurora Awards competition, an independent film and video international competition for commercials and documentaries.

The best of show award was in the competition for Creative Achievement in Cinematography category for the project "Mulungwishi: A United Methodist Mission". Smith traveled some 38 hours to the Democratic Republic of the Congo in April 2011 and had only 4 days in-country to complete the entire 30 minute documentary. The project may be seen on the EdithouseNM channel on YouTube.
