Abstract
For as long as we can remember security and privacy have largely been separate functions. However, in today’s data-centric world the lines are beginning to blur as both are concerned about unauthorized access to data. To reduce the risk to data you have to understand who is accessing what data, when. Organizations are no longer only responsible for making sure their data is secure from breaches, but they must also understand who within their organization should even be able to have access to specific sensitive data.
Join this webcast to hear security and privacy experts discuss the top challenges organizations are facing to their sensitive data, along with new techniques and technologies available to eliminate risk and improve compliance. Additional topics to be covered include:
- Exploration of the expansion of the threat to data and the associated risk across security and privacy
- How to assess the enterprise risk to data
- Cross-functional approaches across people, processes, and technology to mitigate risk and provide data governance and protection
- Future trends in data risk and solutions
