Birmingham, AL (1888PressRelease) August 10, 2017 - At Alabama Eye & Cataract Center, Dr. Michelson sees patients for routine eye exams and evaluation and management of chronic and acute eye diseases including cataracts. Dr. Michelson performs cataract surgery with implantation of multifocal lens implants to allow patients to see over a range of near, computer and arm’s length, and distance vision without the need for glasses. Dr. Michelson also implants astigmatism correcting lens implants. Dr. Michelson performs medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration (AMD), as well as medical management of dry eyes and ocular allergies.

At Michelson Laser Vision, Inc., Dr. Michelson provides exams, consultation and surgery for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism including Bladeless LASIK. In addition, she provides lens implants for the correction of the near vision focusing problem, presbyopia, to help “over 40” patients correct distance vision and restore their full range of vision without dependence on eyeglasses or contacts.
