Al-Hokair Group and Perky's Pizza Sign Agreement
15 Perky's Pizza Locations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This is part of Agreement to Further Develop the Brand.
- (1888PressRelease) April 10, 2013 - Mr. Majed Al-Hokair, Vice Chairman of the Board/Al-Hokair Group and Mr. Jim Howell, President of Perky's Pizza signed an Agreement to further develop the Perky's Pizza brand in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, by adding 15 new locations between the two countries.
On his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E, Mr. Howell toured the existing Perky's Pizza locations in Riyadh and met with the Perky's Pizza Task Force to discuss the operations, training and marketing efforts for the future locations.
Mr. Howell also toured the Al-Hokair Institute. The Institute is a comprehensive education facility founded and operated by the Al-Hokair Group. They conduct educational classes in every aspect of service, hospitality and food service. Mr. Howell said, "It is a very impressive operation and top notch education facility with state of the art equipment and learning labs. It is much like Johnson and Wales here in the USA."
Howell added, "The Middle East is a dynamic market. We are fortunate to partner with the top hospitality brand in the Region. Our relationship with the Al-Hokair Group goes back over 15 years. We are so impressed with their overall operations; we have agreed to allow them to develop the Perky's Pizza brand in the entire MENA Region."
