Akadema sponsored Heat out of Bakersfield, CA won their 2nd tournament in a row.
- (1888PressRelease) November 20, 2012 - Hawthorne, NJ - The 11u Akadema Heat from Bakersfield, California won the 12u Lightning Baseball Invitational Tournament over the weekend. The 11u Heat dominated the 12u division winning all 4 games. This is the 2nd tournament in a row that the Akadema sponsored team dominated. Over the weekend of October 27th the Heat won the VTV Baseball's 1st Annual Halloween Spooktacular. The Akadema Heat has had a great 2012 so far, earning several tournament wins and even winning the 2012 10u Cal Ripken World Series. The team is sporting Akadema bat bags, apparel and batting gloves.
