Harper, and Orioles pitcher Dylan Bundy will become the 11th and 12th teenagers to advance to the playoffs. The last player to make the playoffs as a teenager was Andruw Jones, when he made it in 1996 with the Atlanta Braves.
Harper was struggling for a while, before turning it on in September, and is one of the top candidates for the NL Rookie Of The Year Award. Harper is batting .270, with 98 runs, 144 hits, 22 home runs, and 59 RBI's. In 2010, Akadema signed the phenom to a long-term glove contract, in the same year he was selected as the first overall pick in the MLB draft. Harper uses a custom AMR 34 glove in the field.
