This is Harper's first multi-homerun game in the MLB. Harper stepped up to the plate in the 4th inning, with 1 on and 0 out, and hit his 13th homerun. He hit his second homerun in the 5th inning, with 0 on and 2 out. Harper now has 14 homeruns on the season. On the night, Harper was 2 for 5, with 3 RBI's. On the season Harper is now batting .250, with 69 runs, 103 hits, 14 homeruns, and 40 RBI's. In 2010, Akadema signed the phenom to a long-term glove contract, in the same year he was selected as the first overall pick in the MLB draft. Harper uses a custom AMR 34 glove in the field.
