Aircraft Charter Company Northwest Flyers, Inc. adds King Air 200 to its Part 135 air carrier certificate (NW9A076Y).
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) March 20, 2013 - Northwest Flyers, Inc., a provider of Aircraft Management and Private Jet Charter announces the addition of a King Air 200 to its diverse Chicago based fleet consisting of Turbo-Props, Light Jets and Super-Mids.
"The King Air 200 has been a proven and versatile airframe for us. The addition of our second King Air supports the increased demand for cost efficient and timely regional business travel. Turboprops have been a staple of the air charter industry for decades. We are proud to be one of the few Chicago-land turboprop operators," said Mr. Justin 'Skip' Barchfeld, President of Northwest Flyers. "We look forward to building upon our 15 years of King Air expertise."
Originally marketed as a "Super King Air," this aircraft has been in production since the mid '70's, making it the longest production run of any civilian turbo prop aircraft.
The King Air 200 has the benefit of a world-wide reputation as one of the most versatile and rugged turbo-props ever built. Its ability to cruise at high altitudes (31,000 feet - above most weather and turbulence) provides an extra measure of passenger comfort and safety.
The typical business traveler is given the ability to be productive while in a spacious and comfortable cabin with plenty of leg room; polarized windows offer added cabin comfort and an additional protection from the glare of the sun.
This particular King Air 200 is equipped with full Raisbeck modifications, including wing lockers which provide extra storage capacity and are perfect for golf bags, skis, and oversized bags.
Northwest Flyers was founded in 1986 by Justin "Skip" Barchfeld, who currently has more than 40 years of flight experience, over 13,000 flight hours including his Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license. The Northwest Flyers charter fleet consists of multiple turbine powered aircraft with plans set for additional aircraft in the coming months. Along with its charter services, Northwest Flyers also provides Aircraft Management and Acquisition, Flight Training, Maintenance, Air Ambulance and FBO services at Schaumburg Regional Airport.
