AHA Group Announces the Launch of New Website, ""Definition of Addiction""
AHA Group, a drug and alcohol addiction information and recovery support firm which runs several free addiction related websites has announced the launch of a new site, "The Definition of Addiction".
- (1888PressRelease) December 11, 2012 - AHA Group, the non-profit which operates "Addicts Helping Addicts", an authority site offering drug and alcohol addiction information and recovery support, has launched a new website, Definition of Addiction (thedefinitionofaddiction.com) a site aimed at the addiction and recovery.
The new website's focus takes a different approach than their previous site which encompassed online interactive tools for assisting in one's sobriety and even a year-round calendar of "Just for Today" meditations. The Definition of Addiction tackles many different aspects of the issue of drug and alcohol addiction, yet does so solely through well researched and written articles. The articles on the Definition of Addiction stand out from many of the other addiction based websites as they are in no way afraid to write about topics and make conclusions that many in the field would disagree with so much so that have even considered the posts offensive.
Yet, the posts on the website are not offensive in any way. They just state the factual conclusions derived from scientific studies and empirical research, even if that finding often is in disagreement with many of the rehabilitation centers and addiction professionals beliefs today. Seanomenon, a moderator at the popular Redditt, "RedditorsinRecovery" stated, "Obviously this post is unpopular. However, I think a healthy debate is a good thing." The website promotes these types of articles as they bring about more discussion which can only benefit the addiction research community and bring about change!
AHA Group is the non-profit company which runs several websites devoted to delivering the information and help needed to assist addicts and alcoholics in gaining as well as maintaining sobriety so they can live full and healthy life's without desperation, solitude, incarceration and death which can only come of a life of substance abuse!
