Older adults celebrate visual art paintings in first art show at Jewish senior home.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 10, 2018 - Ageless interAction’s inaugural art show at The William Breman Jewish Home in Atlanta is set to take place on April 25, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The residents of the senior community will showcase their paintings during the 2-hour period, with family and friends attending.
This event, which is open to the public, has been two years in the making for Ageless interAction during their Artist-in-Residency program. The residency included five Elder women over 80 years of age and other residents. The program provided time, space, autonomy, direction, and materials for new and practiced resident artists to create their own visual masterpieces through the medium of painting. The results of this important program is the residents’ first art show. Adults ranging in ages from 80 - 100, will display their works at the William Breman Jewish Home; they look forward to sharing their creations with the public at their inaugural show.
