AEL Data Delivers Corporate Lecture At The International Seminar on ICT for Education and Training
AEL Data's insights on how ICT can be incorporated into conventional teaching were shared with the delegates. It was stressed that ICT is at best utilized to educate, assess, collaborate and manage knowledge transaction between teachers and students.
- (1888PressRelease) January 01, 2013 - The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NiTTTR), an autonomous body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, India and The Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC), Philippines, an inter-governmental agency for Human Resource Development in the Asia-Pacific region, jointly held an International Seminar on "ICT for Education and Training". AEL Data was invited to present a corporate lecture to the educational stakeholders, policy makers, teachers, and NiTTTR and CPSC's representatives.
The objective of the seminar was to give a heads-up to academicians on ICT's best practices to impart education. How ICT can be integrated with the traditional pedagogy in educational institutions was also an important point of focus. Delegates representing different educational administrations and private sectors from various international regions made up the astute audience at this seminar, held on 21/12/2012 at NiTTTR, Chennai.
Information and Communication Technology or ICT as it is more widely known around in the corporate circles, has already become an inseparable part of our day to day lives. Smarter mobile phones, super processing laptops, ultra thin tablet computers, information highways on high-speed broadband are the popular manifestations of ICT. How various organizations and its stakeholders have adapted to this neo-technical environment, decides how they can make the most out of it. Educational institutions and its faculty in specific cannot be left behind in this technological mass exodus.

Dr.Mohammed Sadiq, Sr. Vice President, AEL Data delivered the corporate lecture titled "Shaping the Future of Education & Training with ICT", apprising the audience on the role of educators in prepping their students as a competitive force.
The ICT trends that are fast shaping the future as such as the E-Learning migration from Flash to HTML5, consisted the crux of the lecture. The importance of active usage of ICT tools and services like Class-on-Mobile, Social and Cloud based learning etc. were touched upon. AEL Data doled out its vision on how ICT is the way forward to establish an interactive environment for education. Dr.Sadiq concluded the lecture by summoning the teaching diaspora and its policy makers to evolve in time for addressing the learning requirements of the New-Age student community. The lecture was well received and was highly productive as it was evident from the active post-presentation interaction with the delegates. They felt the lecture was insightful and reinforced the underlying theme and purpose of the entire seminar.
