The FileSpring service is based on the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and allows subscribers to share files and documents - "premium content" - securely via the web portal. Different from generic web portals, Advertas can customize the views to appear like each subscriber's website, thereby reinforcing the company's brand. The service can also be used to enhance an existing website by adding premium content. Individuals ("Members") in a subscriber's business community may be customers, investors, partners, suppliers, etc. Once an individual registers to request to become a Member, an administrator sets access privileges for that Member.
