AdvantaPure(R) to Feature Single Use Systems at Spring Trade Show Appearances-Events Include Interphex and the PDA Meeting
AdvantaPure will exhibit its high purity tubing, manifolds, and disposable fluid processing systems at five pharmaceutical industry shows this spring. In addition to Interphex and the annual PDA Meeting, AdvantaPure will appear at Single Use Systems 2011 and two ISPE events. All five appearances give customers and prospects one-on-one contact with AdvantaPure's engineers.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2011 - AdvantaPure, the manufacturer of high purity tubing, hose, molded silicone components, and single use systems, will exhibit at the Interphex trade show in New York City, March 29-31, booth 3032. The show is an important gathering for suppliers and customers in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.
Also on the company's schedule are the annual PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) Meeting (April 11-12, San Antonio), Single Use Systems 2011 (June 6-8, Boston), the ISPE Carolina-South Atlantic Life Sciences Technology Show (April 5, Raleigh), and the ISPE San Francisco Bay Area Vendor Night (April 7, San Francisco). Each show offers opportunities to meet with customers and prospects and to answer their questions about single use disposable equipment. AdvantaPure will highlight its single use systems for batch filling and sampling at all five events. The systems are ISO Class 7 clean room manufactured and assembled from tubing, molded connections, and critical add-ons such as filters, bags, bottles, and the company's BioClosure(TM) container closures. Users can select from platinum-cured silicone or AdvantaFlex(R) TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). Vaccine manufacturers, drug producers, and vitamin and supplement makers use single use systems to reduce the risk of cross contamination, decrease production downtime, simplify cleaning validations, and reduce costs.
In addition to its application in single use systems, AdvantaFlex is ideal for peristaltic pumps and aseptic welds. It may, in fact, be welded directly to bags and other components for secure connections without the entrapment issues associated with barb-type fittings. AdvantaFlex complies with USP, ISO, FDA, and EP standards and is sterilizable by autoclave or gamma radiation.
Other products to be displayed include AdvantaPure's flexible process hoses of silicone, fluoropolymer, and rubber; DocuLink(TM) (patent pending), an innovative labeling method to distinguish silicone manifolds after installation; and GammaTag(R) gamma-irradiatable RFID tags.
