Columbia, SC (1888PressRelease) March 10, 2015 - The Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) has awarded accreditation to Advanced Fertility & Reproductive Endocrinology Institute's Laboratory in West Columbia, South Carolina based on results of a recent on-site inspection as part of the CAP's Accreditation Programs. This continues the fertility center's consistent CAP accreditation since 2002 when the practice was founded.

The facility's director, Gail F. Whitman-Elia, MD, HCLD (ABB), was advised of this national recognition and congratulated for the excellence of the services being provided. Advanced Fertility & Reproductive Endocrinology Institute's Laboratory is one of more than 7,600 CAP-accredited facilities worldwide.
