Adults With Disabilities Celebrate A Very Special Prom
Community Access Unlimited Holds Their 11th Annual Prom.
- (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2016 - Elizabeth, NJ - On June 10, 2016, the members of Community Access Unlimited (CAU) were able to create memories by attending a unique prom specially designed for people with and without disabilities who, for one reason or another, did not have the opportunity to experience Prom.
More than 70 people dressed to the nines attended the 11th Annual CAU Community Prom, held at Peterstown Community Center in Elizabeth. They enjoyed good food, music from a DJ - who also is a CAU member - and danced and took prom pictures.
This special evening, which received media coverage from MyCentralNewJersey, HipNewJersey, TAPinto/Elizabeth, and The Local Source highlighted the success of CAU's event.

Community Access Unlimited (CAU), celebrating its 37th year of success in 2016, supports people with special needs in achieving real lives in the community. CAU provides support and gives a voice to adults and youth who traditionally have little support and no voice in society.
