Authors and Artists features scholarly and artistic works published or created by Adelphi University faculty, administrators, and staff. On display are various forms of art and written material such as ranging from fine arts to educational journals.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2013 - The Adelphi University Exhibitions Program presents Authors and Artists, an exhibition featuring the scholarly and artistic works published or created by Adelphi University faculty, administrators, and staff. This exhibition is on view at the Swirbul Library Gallery from September 23 to December 6, 2013.
Authors and Artists is an annual showcase of the professional Adelphi University community. On display are various forms of art and written material: sculptures, drawings, photographs, prints and paintings beside history books, poetry, and biographies, scientific and educational journals. This exhibition is an opportunity for many intellectuals of the school faculty, administration, and staff to present a significant piece of literature or fine art that they created or participated in creating within the past year.
