Additions to CrewBoss Website Cultivate Community for Fire Professionals
CrewBoss Revamps Website to Cultivate Resources for Wildland Firefighters.
- (1888PressRelease) November 22, 2011 - Since it's inception in 1988, CrewBoss has been working directly with fire professionals. With firefighters testing product on the ground, offering insight into product designs or creating custom specs, the involvement from the fire community has been integral to the development of CrewBoss.
"We've gotten to be a part of a great community of firefighters," said Ryan Davidson, National Sales Manager for CrewBoss. "Those relationships are very important to us and so creating a website that would be a source of information and community was a natural way for us to give back. "
While the CrewBoss website originally acted as a way for professionals to get product specs and information, recent changes to the site have taken it a step further by fostering community involvement and providing additional news and resources on the fire industry.
The addition of an interactive fire map can provide wildland firefighters with up to date information on current fires or areas with an elevated fire potential along side information being shared online about those fires. With the incorporation of articles and interviews by leading fire professionals, photo galleries of firefighters in their CrewBoss gear and a page with news updates that includes a live twitter feed, the website makes a variety of information and involvement available at a moment's notice.
With continued improvements in the works over the course of the upcoming year, the CrewBoss website will continue to expand it's offerings, as well as it's involvement in the fire community.
