ActorCast Choreographs an Online Casting for "Step Up 4"
Leading Casting Platform Helps Dancers take a Step toward the Big Screen.

Now thru July 11, 2011, dancers can submit their audition via the ActorCast platform for a chance at a role in the film. The "Step Up 4" open call seeks to cast the leading male and female roles for the film, as well as solo and group acts. Dancers from anywhere in the country will now have the opportunity to strut their stuff on the big screen.
Previous Step Up films have garnered a cult following, and the decision to cast the fourth installation via the ActorCast digital platform not only allows the casting directors and producers of the film access to a wider pool of talent, but also affords dancers greater control in the audition process. Dancers will no longer be forced to compete for attention while crammed in a small audition studio. Filming their dance audition and submitting it online not only eliminates the stress of competition, but it also ensures all aspects of the choreography are seen.
