Actor From "The Hangover" Keeping the Momentum Going

Top Quote Stand up comic Keith Lyle goes from Kuwait to Colorado, proving that hard work pays off. End Quote
  • (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2012 - Keith Lyle has had quite a year. So far in 2012 he has performed for the troops in Kuwait, been featured in a comedy documentary, got the most online votes in the prestigious Improv Comedy Club's "Up Yours" contest, and toured the country making audiences laugh with his stand up act.

And his successful run is not over yet. Lyle will be coming to Colorado Springs November 1-4 & 8-11 at Loonees Comedy Corner (http://www.loonees.com) and Wit's End Comedy Club (http://http://www.witsendcomedyclub.com) in Denver November 15-18. He will be performing his standup as the feature act for the extremely popular Don Barnhart Comedy Hypnosis Show.

Lyle may be best known as the snarky 21 dealer in the Golden Globe Award winning movie "The Hangover". "I love coming to Colorado," he said. "Both Denver and Colorado Springs are absolutely beautiful. The crowds are fantastic. Don and I look forward to our time here".

Back in February, Lyle had the most online votes in the Improv Comedy Club's prestigious "Up Yours" contest. Then in June, he broke off his tour of comedy clubs to make his first trip overseas to entertain the troops in Kuwait. "It was an honor and a privilege to try and bring some humor to our hard working heroes," said Lyle. "I found it to be an experience like no other. I'm proud to do my part."

Lyle is featured in the controversial documentary "Finding The Funny", which coincidentally stars Barnhart. The film explores whether aspects of comedy can be taught. It is available on DVD through Barnhart's website (http://www.donbarnhart.com) and on Amazon.com.

The Don Barnhart Comedy Hypnosis Show delivers interactive, improvisational and sidesplitting comedy while simultaneously unlocking the unique mysteries of the human mind as the hypnotist turns them into the stars of the show keeping audiences on the edges of their seats howling with laughter and coming back for more. The Las Vegas Review/Journal reviewed Barnhart's show one of their "Best Bets" of 2012. Barnhart's show is part stand up, part improv, part hypnosis and full on funny! It is a musical and fast-paced romp through the volunteers' subconscious creative genius releasing their hidden talents.

Barnhart has just signed a deal with a production company and network to develop and shoot a reality based, comedy game show based on his popular stage hypnosis tour. Due to a non-disclosure agreement, Barnhart isn't allowed to reveal the details of the show or which network is backing it but claims, "It's one of the most popular networks right now and they've really expanded their comedy programming".
