ACTLean and Schuh & Company Announce Lean Bronze Certification Workshop in Atlanta, GA
The goal of Lean is to streamline all activities necessary for the creation of value and eliminate everything else. A strong orientation towards the customers, their expectations and requirements of the product regarding price, availability, and quality, has to be balanced with the internal perspective of the enterprise, it's processes and systems.
- (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2010 - ACTLean will offer a 1.5 day Lean Bronze Certification Workshop and a half day Lean Bronze Certification Exam at the German American Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta, GA on February 24th and 25th, 2011.
With the Lean Bronze Certification, you demonstrate a solid understanding of basic lean principles and tools, as well as your ability in tactical implementation projects that drive improvements and show measurable results.
To achieve Lean Bronze Certification, you will learn Lean Methodologies from a tactical viewpoint within the following key modules as identified in the Lean Body of Knowledge provided by SME / AME / ASQ / Shingo Prize:
• Cultural Enablers (15%)
• Continuous Process Improvements (60%)
• Consistent Lean Enterprise Culture (10%)
• Business Results (15%)
In ACTLean's Bronze Certificate preparation workshop you will systematically review all relevant information and methodologies as outlined in the Lean Body of Knowledge. This workshop is therefore not meant to be your initial training, but an opportunity to understand the exam, organize your reference materials and refresh your memory.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is for Lean Practitioners who would like to demonstrate their knowledge by achieving the SME/AME/ASQ/Shingo Prize Lean Bronze Certificate. The workshop provides a systematic review of all relevant content of the Bronze Certificate including trial tests. If desired, participants can take the Lean Bronze Exam right after the end of the workshop in the classroom.
Workshop Duration
1.5 days teaching and exercises as well as individual exam preparation.
0.5 days Lean Bronze Exam (optional, SME exam fees apply)
