Actiance enhances its Socialite service with a key hire and new partnership to help regulated organizations better train their sellers to reap the benefits of social media while managing risk.

To further help organizations establish and rapidly roll out their social media programs, Actiance also hired Phil Gerbyshak as Director of Social Strategy. A prominent speaker on social media, Gerbyshak brings 15 years of experience of training in various sectors, including financial services, to assist Actiance's customers.

Through the integration with PeopleLinx, Actiance will deliver a streamlined social media user experience with training videos built directly into Socialite to expedite the adoption of social media among regulated users. This self-service model is designed to help users in regulated industries utilize social media effectively. The tutorials will initially consist of 18 short videos on social networking and business development topics, best-practice tips on social selling, and how to use Socialite. The Socialite content discusses sharing pre-approved content, interacting with clients and prospects, and analyzing the impact of users' activities. The videos are available through the Socialite portal and the Socialite toolbar on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Sellers will also be able to schedule one-on-one training directly through the portal.
