ACT Hires Two Global Product Managers
ACT Conferencing continues to expand its workforce with the addition of two global product managers.
- (1888PressRelease) December 02, 2010 - Lakewood, Colo. - Matthew Fedak now oversees event and multimedia services and Jamie Kennedy manages ACT's unified communication and collaboration services.
In his new role, Fedak is responsible for ACT's Global Attended Audio Collaboration and Webcasting Services, including event solutions, and will lead product lifecycle management, product strategy, market planning and product marketing. Prior to joining ACT, Fedak was a lead product manager for the NCM Fathom division of National CineMedia. In this role, he managed all product lines for Fathom's more than 10,000 annual corporate meetings in over 17,000 movie theatre auditoriums across the United States. Fedak also served as a project coordinator for MatchLogic. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Northern Colorado.
As the global product manager for unified communication and collaboration services, Kennedy is responsible for driving ACT's reservationless, or "on-demand" conferencing services, including product strategy, market planning and product marketing. Kennedy joined ACT from Reliance Globalcom where he served as a senior product manager supporting the company's core Ethernet services portfolio. Prior to that, Kennedy worked for CDW where he was a brand manager for Cisco Systems. Kennedy has also worked for Qwest Communications and Cable & Wireless. He earned a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech.
