ACS Expands Within Russia
Air Charter Service continues its expansion by opening new St. Petersburg office.
- (1888PressRelease) July 02, 2010 - Air Charter Service has opened its second Russian office - and its eleventh worldwide - this month in St Petersburg to capitalise on the ever expanding charter market in Russia and the CIS.
Opening its doors on June 15th, the office is situated at the city's main airport - Pulkovo International. Tony Bauckham, Managing Director at ACS, explains the need for another Russian base: "Our long-established office in Moscow - which opened in 1995 - has been flourishing in recent years, which has led us to look to expand within Russia, and St Petersburg was the natural choice."
Bauckham added: "So far in 2010 the office is more than 30% up on last year - as our company is growing, the demand for our service is also growing and we have more and more clients all over Russia and the CIS. The opening of this office enables us to be closer to some of our key customers, and we look forward to its development, further strengthening ACS's position as one of the world's leading charter companies."
Air Charter Service arranges private jet charters, commercial airliner charters and cargo charters, and now has a total of eleven offices worldwide - with plans to open more later this year. The company operated over 4,000 charters in 2009, resulting in a turnover of more than US$250 million.
