ACS an Exhibitor in NFC & Smart World 2013
From March 5 to 8, 2013, ACS will be exhibiting its NFC products in NFC & Smart World 2013 in Tokyo, Japan. ACS will be exhibiting the ACR122U NFC Reader, ACR1222U-J4, and three members of the ACR38 smart card reader family: ACR38U-I1, ACR38T-D1, and the ACR38U-N1.

ACS will be in Booth NF2113.
Among products that ACS will be exhibiting is the ACR122U NFC reader, an ISO/IEC 18092-compliant PC-linked contactless card reader/writer that supports Mifare cards, ISO 14443 A and B cards, and all four types of NFC tags and the ACR1251U, a CCID-compliant NFC Reader that supports card read/write operations, card emulation and P2P communication.
ACS will also feature three members of the ACR38 family: the ACR38U-I1, a CCID-compliant, plug-and-play smart card reader in an ipod casing; the ACR38T-D1, a SIM-sized but full-fledged reader with short-circuit protection; and the ACR38U-N1, a token that transforms into a reader for full-sized contact cards with a single swivel motion.
Finally ACS will feature the ACR1222U-J4, a standalone portable device that transmits digital content to Felica-embedded mobile devices within a certain range. The ACR1222U-J4 was shortlisted for the hardware category of the 2012 Sesames Awards.
NFC and Smart World 2013 has been dubbed the first of "exhibits introducing the latest trends in the world of the NFC (near field communication) standard." It will feature smart phone‒related NFC solutions; smart devices such as smart cards and RFID; wireless NFC solutions; and payment, security, machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of things (IoT) applications.
