Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. Completes Time-Sensitive Move In Good Samaritan Hospital's Puyallup Emergency Room
The premier relocation company acquired the Multicare Hospital's move into its new $400 million Patient Care Tower, on February 16th.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) April 08, 2011 - Ace Relocation Systems, Inc., a comprehensive relocation solutions company throughout the U.S., successfully carried out a time-sensitive relocation project in the new 357,000 square foot tower, holding the Puyallup Hospital Emergency Room, in MultiCare's Good Samaritan Hospital.
The Good Samaritan Hospital project, which was acquired by Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. through an RFP put out by CB Richard Ellis, is a $400 million expansion that features more amenities, space and a complete interior renovation.
As part of the Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. Seattle Branch, the team cleared the original ER space to prepare for its move to the new tower; while the hospital remained fully functional.
"With this project in particular, we were working in an active emergency room; which yields a different approach. It is great to see our team adapt and excel in different situations," said Rob Schmidt, Senior Commercial Relocation Consultant for Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. "In addition, the day of the move was one of the largest emergency intakes the hospital had ever seen."
Ace's Seattle branch is involved in all aspects of a relocation from the preliminary planning, budgeting and project management through the physical move.
Towering 156 feet, the patient tower includes a ground floor emergency department featuring 46 treatment rooms and four triage rooms; a second floor featuring six operating rooms with space for two more; a third floor main entrance featuring a gift shop and Starbucks; a fourth floor mechanical space; a fifth and sixth floor of 78 private inpatient rooms with dedicated family areas; a seventh and eighth floor allowing for projected future growth of 80 private inpatient rooms and a roof top helicopter stop for transporting trauma patients to the hospital.
The majority of Ace's nine branches throughout the U.S., including Seattle, are IOMI Certified Office and Industrial Movers.
As a full-service Atlas Van Lines mover, Ace Relocation continues to provide comprehensive relocation and storage services to Seattle and surrounding areas, taking on various types and sizes of clients in both the residential and corporate sectors.
