AccessData Strengthens Capabilities in Middle East with New Professional Services and Information Forensics Division
Hires industry veteran Paul Wright as division-in-charge to drive business.

Paul has extensive experience in the investigation of cybercrime and IT security. In the new role he will be engaged in incident response and forensic investigation services that will support customers who have been the subject of a security breach as well as those who want to protect themselves from breaches and other cybercrime.

Paul has been mandated with developing AccessData's end-to-end investigative services and solutions offering which will include security consulting services, cybercrime 'gap and impact' audits, managing complex projects like establishment of 'Computer Emergency Response Teams' and in-house forensic capabilities for organizations and providing support and value-add to other services and products provided by AccessData.

Before joining AccessData, Paul worked for Verizon as a forensic and investigation consultant, and prior to that he was with UK law enforcement for 26 years at the local, national and international level and spent the last 10 years of his detective career specializing in Internet, network and computer investigations. During this time, Paul was appointed as an operational team leader in the National Hi-Tech Crime Team Unit and head of the Hi-Tech Crime Team for the City of London Police. In the later role he was the driving force behind the unit's outreach programme targeted at the business sector, acting as the main liaison to the business community.
He has published a number of practitioner papers and articles on the topic of e-crime and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in professional computing and is a regular lecturer and keynote speaker on the topics of computer forensics and cybercrime.
