The student program, developed by Abram Jimenez while serving as Castle Park and Scripps Ranch Assistant Principal, was based on the goal of peer tutors providing assistance to students in areas such as awareness, readiness within in the A-G curriculum.

The A-G curriculum, utilized throughout San Diego County, offers rigorous courses designed to prepare students in middle and high school with essential skills for college and career.
