Sri Lanka University receives free ERP system from Germany
At Sri Lanka University of Kelaniya, abas ERP is used in order to provide comprehensive training of ERP systems and to "produce well qualified students, familiar with the latest IT and management concepts including ERP", according to Dr. Julian Nanayakkara, Management Consultant and Senior Lecturer of Industrial Management at the University. "ABAS provides them a path for career advancement and enables them to get familiar with the best ERP, which in turn will do much to enhance the quality of Sri Lankaīs workforce." ABAS Software AG donated the ERP system to the University of Kelaniya and just recently handed a cheque for $200,000 to the Department of IT of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
