A New Destination Shopping Experience: A Vermont Fine Furniture Showroom
Vermont Woods Studios celebrates their official ribbon cutting ceremony at their new fine furniture and decor showroom, Stonehurst.
- Burlington-South Burlington, VT (1888PressRelease) October 25, 2013 - Stonehurst, a 220 year old New England farmhouse perched on the former "Pine Top" ski area in Vernon, Vermont is the newest destination shopping experience in Vermont. The high end, furniture and home décor gallery officially unveils to the public on Saturday, November 9 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house from 1pm-5pm.
The Stonehurst project (8 years in the making) was given a boost earlier this year by a $100,00 grant from Vermont's Working Lands Initiative designed to expand Vermont's agricultural and forest products sector. As such Governor Peter Shumlin, Senators Leahy and Sanders, Representative Welch, the VT Working Lands Enterprise Boards and other VIPs have taken an interest in the project and may be in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
"Stonehurst offers Vermont's high quality, handmade furniture and home décor items in a relaxed and scenic venue" said owner, Peggy Farabaugh. "Our customers value sustainable products. At Stonehurst with it's 110 acres of managed forest, they can enjoy nature, a glass of wine and panoramic views of the Green Mountains while they shop for home furnishings".
