New Fantasy/Sci-fi/horror based Indie Publishing Company : Tethys Night Sky Publishing announces its first book launch; The Fox Demon's Kiss by first time author Keri Moore. Moore discusses the book and what motivated her to write about the interracial, multi cultural, thrilling that takes places in snowy Kyoto Japan. She peaks about her love for Asian culture and distinct between the two.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2020 - The Fox Demon's Kiss by Keri Moore features an African American woman traveling to Kyoto, Japan, where she stumbles on an unspeakable evil that that chases her into the arms of Sorahiko, (the inn keeper) for protection. Together, they face the ultimate battle to survive, against a myriad of demons, after her sacred heart. Moore, who holds both a BA in English from Smith College and a MA in Political Science from Brooklyn College, has always been fascinated with Asian culture. For this particular novel, she spent a lot of time researching Japanese folklore.
"I think Japan is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially rural areas," Moore said. "Japanese food, the social norms, the style in total is so different from my culture, I thought it'd be cool to merge the two."
This is her first novel with Tethys Night Sky Publishing.
